This is the first class in the series without parent participation. This beginner class will be non-­competitive, meaning no games will have player vs. player or player vs. coach. At this stage of development most children are not comfortable engaging in competition, or do they understand the concept. This class will include fun soccer activities that will teach the players the basic skills necessary to play the great sport. Occasionally the class as a whole may play activities against the coach to get them to begin understanding the concept of the game. Parent participation is not allowed, so if your child needs assistance please talk to the coach. 50-­minute class Required Equipment: Comfortable clothes, athletic shoes, and a water bottle. Shinguards are recommended, but not required. Cleats are permitted.
