<p>This learn to skate program is for children age 2 years old and older. </p> <p>Level 2 are for those who have passed level 1. In this class children in level 2 will learn to do side steps, forward skate the width of the arena with control, do a forward push and glide sequence using both feet, 2 foot forwards glide and touch toes, 1 foot forwards glide, forwards sculling, skating backwards, snowplow stop from speed, 2 foot jump with speed & 2 foot spin.</p> <div data-canvas-width="593.456">Level 3 will learn how to do cross steps with control, forwards 1 foot</div> <div data-canvas-width="596.9919999999998">glide on the circle (both directions), 2 foot sculling with speed and control, 2 foot backwards</div> <div data-canvas-width="618.7359999999998">sculling, skate backwards the width of the arena with speed and control, backwards 1 foot glide,</div> <div data-canvas-width="575.8080000000001">2 foot stop from backwards glide, jump and turn a ¼ on the spot & 2 foot spin picking up</div> <div data-canvas-width="100.24000000000001">alternating feet.</div> <p> </p> <p>Gear Required - Please ensure the skater has a hockey helmet with a full cage, skates and winter type clothes, including gloves/mittens. If you need to rent helmets and/or skates please contact the Hockey Outlet at 604-371-1157 to arrange the rentals as they are a seperate business located within the Langley Sportsplex.

</strong>*If you have registered into a program and need to withdraw, we require 7 days’ notice prior to the start of the program to be eligible for a full refund. All other withdrawals will be subject to a possible credit on account.
