Basic 1 (ages 6-12)
Basic 1 participants learn the basics of skating forward, backward, stopping & more in this class! No prior experience necessary for this level. Basic 1 is a prerequisite for all other figure skating and hockey classes.
- Each class is a 1-hour time slot that consists of 30min practice and 30min instruction time.
- Only registered participants allowed in rink, no spectators. Once skaters are checked in, parents exit the building. Skaters walk out as a group with coaches to parents at the end of the hour. Pick up door is clarified at entry.
- Face Masks required at all times in the building for ages 5 and up, on and off the ice.
- Warm clothes, long socks, gloves, and a helmet are recommended for beginner skaters!
